Andrew D. Stone is a co-founder and partner with the law firm of Stone & Connolly, P.A. He was born in Chicago and moved to Miami as a child. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1992 and his Juris Doctor degree in 1995. After graduating from law school, Mr. Stone returned to South Florida where he currently resides with his family.

Mr. Stone was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1995 and is currently in his 16th year of practicing law. His practice is focused in the area of civil trial litigation with an emphasis upon insurance defense matters including premises liability, negligent security, professional liability, products liability and auto negligence.

Mr. Stone is an active trial lawyer in Dade, Broward, Monroe and Palm Beach counties. He has tried cases in both the Circuit Court of the 11th Judicial Circuit in and for Dade County , Florida as well as the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County , Florida . He has achieved favorable verdicts for his clients including defense verdicts and awards of attorney's fees and costs.

Mr. Connolly is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida , and the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Dade County Bar Association, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute and is also an appointee to the Military Affairs Committee of the Florida Bar.

Mr. Connolly earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with highest honors from the University of Florida in 1993 and his Juris Doctorate degree with honors from the University of Miami School of Law in 1995.

Mr. Connolly is a native of South Miami , where he continues to reside with his wife and two children in the Village of Palmetto Bay. Mr. Connolly and Mr. Stone have known each other since early childhood, having attended the same elementary and secondary schools as well as having participated in both community and school sponsored sports. Mr. Connolly and Mr. Stone have based their State-wide practice in the South Miami area as part of their commitment to their community.
